only hiwatt head i've played for bass was a friggin 200!!!

is NZRS_Matt still lurking, wonder how the fender bassman tv series is holding up.

this thread is actually creating too much gas for me. been looking around at the mesa walkabouts, and fender bassman. thinking of a ceriatone 'bassman' with a bass speaker.... probably an ashdown 12 inch or something i can have easy access too

i also have chucked a linden preamp in front of my 10' AC4 combo and its coping quite well :)

If I could afford the parts I think I could actually do it relatively easy by using my Dual Showman as a starting point, could probably use the chassis and head cab and most of the tubes.
