Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

I've had no experience with the basses, but i like my ltd guitar. Just curious as you made a comment about ltd earlier I think.
We went to musicworks and out west they had bugger all of anything and all the others in aucks were closed on saturday for some reason... And he bought one from rs instead.

Yep. Exactly.
You can pick up a pretty good Squire *cough* P for not much... and get someone to do a decent set up for you.
