No wonder it's called the Rockshop...

Post by Pakehendrix »

...because the service rocks.

MASSIVE thank you to Matt, who I owe as many beers as he can chug down. The staff could not believe the deal I got
Also a huge huge thanks to the fella named Scott (I think) who was fantastic - sole charge of the bass store, lots of annoying customers (including me) and handled it all like a pro. Excellent tone advice and opinions, and super friendly.

What did I buy?

Well...I'll give you some clues. Waiting to pick up the other part before a full family shot, but try guessing (ash, Capt. Black and NZRS_Matt are not allowed to guess...oh wait and neither can anybody who has read my FB update  )

It was interesting being in the store - another guy wanted the exact same rig, so I quickly told Scott I would be paying cash. Phew!

Oh and make the most of that GST Free sale. It knocked a considerable amount off the final amount!

I have the bottom two sussed ... but can't place the top picture at all.

The blue jewel lamp has me all tied up ... *sigh* ... and I can't go look it up because I don't know what your real name is.

As long as its not a Warwick it'll all be fine.
If it is - at least its one step better than a headless, i suppose...
He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...

Badmotor gets the first brownie points for giving a specific answer :P

Hint: Timi will think my entire rig is the most 'wang' thing on the planet.

Rog - I talked about that with Scott from RS, we agreed that it could get much worse from here
