It probably meand "double acting" truss rod, which is a single rod that works in both directions. Clockwise to straighten forward bow as normal, and anticlockwise to straighten backbow. The fact it has an allen key head also indicates the likelyhood of this.

Yes, that's it. Double acting.

OK, now I remember what it was that was confusing about it. It has a couple of polycomposite neck support rods and when I first heard about that I thought it meant there were two carbon fibre truss rods.
