Nothing boring about that one, nicely executed. That sonic blue in the background reminds me of something...

Coolness! Will we have a bass amp of some sort to play it through? I can't remember if Vince had a bass amp with him at the last fest...

Aren't you on the lookout for a new solidbody electric as well?
I have a project bass which I am doing up bit by bit. But yeah, I'm starting to move back a little bit toward electrics.

Yep, and a P Bass to shoot out against it.

You really can't beat a P bass in a rock band. It just sits perfectly in the mix with so little effort required.

Does this switch between series and parallel wiring?

I reckon Snoop Lion would appreciate this bass into a huge Ampeg rig.

Looking forward to THAT. :D

I must admit I never would have suspected that P-Basses were more dominant in market-share over J basses though. :?
they are not. and P/J is more common again
it's like 1x15 + 4x10 = Bass rig. Some things occur for reasons not always easily explained.

What kind of neck have you chosen to put on this?
It's not a typical Jass neck.

Also, what tones/pickups were you referencing when winding the pickup?
