Picked up this bad boy for a song on tarders, LTD B-255, 5 string bass, Agathis body, neckthru, EMG HZ pickups and active EQ... perfect for what I need :)

I don't know too much about basses, but that looks like a quality instrument to me.

It's prettier in the flesh, and yeah, the build quality is awesome, would have been a $1500+ bass brand new I imagine!

Spent over an hour last night playing this into the HD500X, using the HD bass addon pack, was quite fun, setting on the SVT amp on the normal channel and using a SVT 8x10 cab impulse response in the Pangaea, sounds pretty beefy!

The couple of Ltd basses I've jammed on were surprisingly excellent.

You can keep that extra string though
