Fair call, I'm sure they'd do a custom order, or there's always the Jaco option...
They’re real dicks about custom stuff sadly :(

It's a funny instrument but when I have "good hands" it's a nice thing

Fender Jazz - Diamond Comp - Sadowsky Preamp - very old flatwounds

Virtually no mwah more mellow fundamental thump. Notes blossom

Anyway anyone here play fretless?
I want a MusicMan Stingray , they don't make them anymore
Bungalow Bills has one. Was owned by a friend of mine who can no longer play. Lovely bass :-)

I climbed on the back of a giant albatross which flew through a crack in the cloud to a place where happiness reigned all year round and music played ever so loudly

What song would you recommend as the 'best' example of the 6 string?

Surprising absolutely no-one, my bass preference is firmly fixed in my personal history.

Both strung with old (now) TI Jazz Flats. Neither will need to see new strings - ever (although I do have a spare set somewhere just in case).

My P has been refretted twice, firstly because I was a complete idiot in the '70s and used RS66 fret eaters which were well-named for a reason and secondly because I defretted it for a few years to play the lines before I went back to playing the spaces.
