Bass family shots

Post by Kev77 »

New fretless bass day. Original unused 70's fender factory fretless neck and alder body in "burnt Fanta metallic ". Schaller tuners, omega bridge, antiquity SD pups, and thomastik flats for life.
I've just been collecting parts for this project for a bit, assembled by Trevor at Binford Luthiery.
If anyone is selling a hard case?

I'm so scared of fretless basses but that's gorgeous.

Here’s the current batch of parts caster basses. There’s a pbass neck there I’m currently finalising into a lakland/pbass monster.
From the rear it’s the fretless pbass.factory fretless, late 70’s.
Jazz bass, all parts and others with lollar pups.
A pbass jazz neck jobby with a stellartone tonestyler. The jazz neck is off a pbass special USA.
And an all parts pbass with quarter pounders I recently acquired.
All but one have schallar tuners , badass bridges and thomastik flats. That’s my jam

The lakland pbass is going to have a pup like this

Where's the Love for Hanson?

Is the Jazz Bass the "Inca Silver"

Do you call a parts Bass by its neck or body or pick up configuration?

Yeah maybe it’s Inca silver? I got the body off TM, maybe a member from nzg?
It’s made by a luthier in the states .
My reasoning is a parts bass/ instrument is any instrument where the respective parts come from others instruments.
Btw, the guys at Hanson we’re very easy to deal with and made the pup on request.
