OMG - what a monster!!

No point letting a guitarist near it, 'cos they'd never be able to tune it and no point letting a bass player near it, 'cos we loathe those tinny sounds...

Waste of space other than for a wall decoration, or a poseur, really.. ;)
He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...

shheesh Rog,
I had you down for Tom Peterson's best mate.

most nonsensical is 10 yes 10 not 2x5, but tuned mad.
like smaller.
the frets are almost on top of each other
there is a couple of thousand different notes on the fretboard apparently.

If I hadn't of read TAB I might be able to explain it better.

O ~ Cheap Trick. Well I suppose he's gotta keep up with the guitarist with that 42 neck guitar.

Doug Pinnock of Kings X played one of these Hamers.

I remember reading an interview with him (going back a while now), he was saying that the strings are played together rather than individually i.e. the E with its two octaves etc. So every note you play, you're playing its two octaves as well.

Monster sound as I recall!
