Dave Lombardo instore (?)
The musicworks website has a banner advertising an Auckland instore signing by Dave Lombardo. But there are no details and nothing to click on...

I saw Infectious Grooves in Chch in the 90s. No Dave Lombardo, but had Rob Trujillo on bass!godgrinder wrote:Didn't realise he's in Suicidal Tendencies nowadays. They're playing Auckland this weekend.

Re: Dave Lombardo instore (?)
would love to have a beer with Lombardo, he seems like the only true gentleman from slayer.
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

I went backstage after the Slayer/Mastodon show in 2007. Dave left straight after their set, all the other guys were still hanging out.mrmofo wrote:would love to have a beer with Lombardo, he seems like the only true gentleman from slayer.

Re: Dave Lombardo instore (?)
I hung out outside the auckland town hall back on the devine intervention tour to see the band and they just walk right past everyone without really even acknowledging anyone.....I thought that was shit so I will say Dave was the nicest guy in slayer given he was out of the band at that pointgodgrinder wrote:I went backstage after the Slayer/Mastodon show in 2007. Hard to be Guy Smiley after every show, after thousands of gigs. Kerry King always seems amicable.
Lombardo is a beast, but Paul Bostaph's drumming on Devine Intervention?

I don't know man I would have hoped that visiting a country for the first time would be enough to bring the smilesClanger wrote:Hard to be Guy Smiley after every show, after thousands of gigs. Kerry King always seems amicable.

OK it seems like nothing has been set yet. He's doing a signing indeed but they're not sure which store/what time.
