Nice stuff Sam, I'm expecting that to worm it's way into my ear when it gets picked up by the Radio stations :)

is this going to be a stand alone single? or is it part of an impending album release?

It's definitely catchy! Found myself humming away to it later in the day after first hearing it.

I actually really dig this track, and I've been honest in saying that I wasn't a huge fan before. Not sure about the video, but it's definitely shot really well. Love your cameo in the office scene.

Sam, I like it a lot. Particularly the riff, relentless 4/4 drumming, and cool melodic overdubs at the end.

Thought this was gonna be a badass Toto cover.

Not bad at all - although it seems to take a long time for the chorus to kick in.

I'd buy it on iTunes.

Difference being, old Chris D's songwriters borrow rather too heavily from other people.

The chorus is utterly blatant in my view. The verse is also very similar guitar-wise.
3 major chords and a relative minor chord over a 4/4 beat starts to sound like most pop songs after a while. I like what you do with it though. Bright guitar riffs with a touch of grit. Hold The Line sounds like Shihad at the beginning and that's a favourable comparison in my book. You have a strong, clear vocal also. Well done.

Did you have a listen to those two tracks? Trust me, it's not a coincidence. Melody and phrasing are the same too.

Thanks, glad you like my track.

Sounds great! I like your voice Sam, you've got a great gritty/smoky rock thing going on. That should be a fun track live too, I’ll bet.

Thanks bro. It is a banger live though it's relatively demanding (in that it's demanding in comparison to our other material but it's not exactly Meshuggah). It was our biggest song live last tour even though it had not yet been recorded and thus obviously the audience had never heard it before. We took that as a pretty good sign!
