Black River Drive's tour with Autozamm kicks off tonight at the Kings Arms, with support from Ekko Park.

Our song "Call The Doctor" is presently #2 across rock radio in NZ. I'll be doing interviews on The Rock today (2pm) and Hauraki (3pm).

Tickets for tonight's show are $16 off Eventfinder or $20 on the door. We'll have BRD t-shirts and our album Perfect Flaws available for sale.

Hope some of you can make it along.

had HAURAKI on at work today
little surprised you cited metallica Sam, still better than Bon Jovi :D

the host was enthusiastic, I'll give him that

little bit of Kerrigan in ya vox today too, that's a compliment, wouldn't imagine a live to air acoustic jaunt is particularly stress less

good job

Yeah man the black album was HUGE for me in terms of rhythm guitar and just overall rock out-ness.

You mean Jason Kerrison? Thanks man, that's a huge compliment but I'm a long way off his level of skill. I was actually a bit hung over so got a bit of extra voice grain. I try not to think about how many people are going to hear it when doing those live to airs, otherwise I'd struggle to sing at all!

You need to build a bunker for the coming apocalypse Sam, he's got a great voice and I'm a big opshop fan, but that side of things is a little odd :?

I liked it. I don't have any Tiki Taane pictures on me though.

It didn't make me start singing it like Bullet did and think that's probably because it's a more mellow song. I dig some of the musicality, the bass fills, the drum fills etc ... actually I really dug the bass sound a lot.

Serious lack of Floyd Rose bridges in the band though ... :(

:)
Yup - that's me and my pal Steve or little stevie vai as I like to call him. In Auckland airport when I was 26. I'm not 26 anymore.
