I never really cared for Paul & John, I always liked George's stuff. Never get tired of the White Album either.

Phil collins did a great remake of golden slumbers a few years back. Never been able to find it online 'tho.

Actually, I think you just blew any tenuous hold you had on a case. What I see there is a father who loves his daughter and is able to provide something she wants. Any father would do the same if he could.
