Your tenon sounds very short.
It has no tenon. The neck is held on by magic fairy dust and unicorn tears.

Yeah, it's really coming into its own now. I wish it could manage a little bit more clean volume, but it's actually capable of enough to use in my band so probably doesn't matter. Also, that's not really what I bought it for. It's excellent for recording and practice.

External Blue?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Puhlease. The best unicorn tears are hand cultivated in the US of A. There's simply no comparison. Chinese unicorn tears have an inferior PH balance.

And NOS, USA unicorn tears have some mojo that you just can't find anywhere else. As soon as I drizzled the tears onto my buffer, it was like a blanket was lifted off the amp. I've never experienced toan that was so warm, just like buttah! Every not of my bad 12 bar blues bloomed and the mouthfeel was amazing!

PH aside, I understand they don't even use real Unicorns in China

Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.
