Yeah, Lindley's a legend. Kinda hard to believe that people haven't heard of him.
Here's a better quality clip of him doing Mercury Blues. He's one of the first generation of players that started using one of them thar Dumble amps back in the 70s that's part of his signature sound; 50W Overdrive Special in this clip; solo @5:30.
Have you built any Weissenborn style instruments Adrian? I heard 'Driving Wheels' on my alarm clock radio one morning and thought 'That has GOT to be Lindley!' a quick google of the lyrics and I was in luck.

That line about Saigon in the first tune of the OP is very true.
Too true! Good Springsteen cover. He also does many great Warren Zevon covers. ('Mutineer' for starters).

Nice. Are the semi-hollow Hawaiians 25" or short scale?
Hawaiian model is 25" and a smaller Weiss-ish shape, neck (and bridge if required) magnetic pickup + bridge piezo with chambers and a semi-acoustic top.
Western model is Ricky/Fender/Gibson inspired, bridge magnetic pickup, solid body, 22.5" scale.

Nice. Similar to Asher? (Bill Asher doesn't do the Piezo option though)
