Non guitar-y music.

Post by badmotor »

What 'not really guitar' music (there IS some) have you been enjoying lately? I find taking a break from guitar related stuff makes me love it more when I come back to it.

The last week I have been obsessing over the genius of Aphex Twin:

For the last two months i have been listening to the elmo cd in the car. It's the one you order and you tell them your Childs name and elmo says and sings it through out the cd. It's great and she loves it.

The only thing is.... Every single time my daughter is in the car, she asks to put it on.

Love public enemy.

'By the time I get to arizona' is my all time favourite public enemy song.

NWA (says the skinny white guy)
Lightning bolt (on a technicality because all they do is make noise)
Aaaaaaand this Mozart collection thing performed by the "London Festival Orchestra". It's like 4 and a half hours of the stuff and it's pretty mean really. But not all in one sitting.

for the last couple of weeks I've been listening to Paul Oakenfold - Perfecto Vegas while I've been going out for my lunchtime walks and it's great because it's bought my walking pace up quite a bit.

Also been listening to a much older compilation of his Perfection - Perfecto

Hmmmm. I thought "Yay", something I hadn't heard... but was a bit too predictable for my discriminating taste.
