Cool.

Two things...Robert Plants head seems to be continuing to grow even though his body has stopped, and "metal"? wtf?

If I hadn't emigrated to NZ in 2005 I would have been in that crowd.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

So the word was they (Jimmy and JPJ) wanted to tour, but Robert said " Yeah, nah" - so they went and auditioned a few singers! But of course, ended up canning the idea. Imagine if that went ahead. Weird.

It's true, he can't hit the high notes any more. But I've seen most of the concert on YouTube in a surprisingly well cut together video, made up of a whole bunch of audience bootlegs. It was a pretty bloody good show. :)
