It's been a long time since they rock and rolled
Four years to release a dvd is fairly brisk in the glacial world of Led Zep these days...

Cool.
Two things...Robert Plants head seems to be continuing to grow even though his body has stopped, and "metal"? wtf?

And Page is living proof that there is a level of chemical consumption which will preserve the body.*UNIQUE* wrote:Cool.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Very cool....
If I hadn't emigrated to NZ in 2005 I would have been in that crowd.

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

So the word was they (Jimmy and JPJ) wanted to tour, but Robert said " Yeah, nah" - so they went and auditioned a few singers! But of course, ended up canning the idea. Imagine if that went ahead. Weird.

And then, half way through you realised they stopped playing anything sung by Bob...and that he can't hit any of the notes anymore?

It's true, he can't hit the high notes any more. But I've seen most of the concert on YouTube in a surprisingly well cut together video, made up of a whole bunch of audience bootlegs. It was a pretty bloody good show.
