Send the wife there, come to the gig. Easy?

Seriously, their last gig here was excellent...hard to fault in spite of their obvious exhaustedness (?).

That's the perfect time to talk to her about it.

When I use this particular tactic for getting my own way, I like to check there's clean sheets on the spare bed first.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

:-) Maybe. I've decided on my own that I'll have to give it a miss though. I'd love to say it was totally because I felt bad about ditching on my friends' party. It is mostly that. But Band of Horses just fall short of having enough pull to sway me. If it had been a similarly popular band like The Hold Steady or Japandroids I'd be there. I do love BoH (Cease to Begin is amazing), but apparently not enough to own their latest album after I saw it got bad reviews. So that means probably not enough to get me to pike on my friends.

That's very thoughtful - even though she was in the wrong doesn't mean she should have to sleep between used sheets.
