Haven't seen Havens mentioned for aaaaages. Always enjoyed what I saw of him. RIP

At first I had no clue who he was, until reading the article, I must have watched his performance of Freedom on the Woodstock film about a thousand times... RIP.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

I used to bang away on my acoustic years ago trying to get that kind of sound. Loved his crude style of playing. See you on the other side my friend.

Man i musta played that woodstock song for years when pissed on acoustic. Loved his voice. Looks like he had a great innings!!

A old school mate who is now a promoter went on a European tour with him a couple of years ago. Says he was a great guy.

He is Woodstock for me.
A sure cure for seasickness is to sit under a tree.
