Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Best Band Name
Some of the tribute band names are great. Like the all-girl Lez Zeppelin or my personal favourite, Orchestral Maneuvers In The Darkness.

Hah, coincidence I'm sure but The Penetrators were a NY band in the late 70s punk era and Buster Hymen was another punk era character back in the day. Can't recall if he was from the UK or one of the guys around the old Auckland punk scene.NZRS_Matt wrote:A friend of mine in Australia was in a band called

Wasn't everybody? I was in in a high school band called that, too.NZRS_Matt wrote:A friend of mine in Australia was in a band called

I later learned that the name was also used occasionally by Rose Tattoo.

The Gaze.
We butter our bread with butter.
+ Most grindcore band names. I like names that you'd be embarrassed to say to your parents. My death metal band a few years ago was Molest The Episocpate haha.

Re: Best Band Name
I'm not a fan of this one (I like the music, just not the name) at all, but I kinda like the fact that some guys are so fucked in the head and don't give a shit that they called their band Prostitute Disfigurement.
Also, Kill Whitney Dead was pretty cool, though the are obviously irrelevant now.

Not being a 13 year old child, I no longer get how names chosen purely for offensiveness are anything other than childish.

Late '80s Mercedes always made me giggle.

Re: Best Band Name
I thought sexpest was pretty funny, and I'm sure it's been used before, but I was in a covers band, more of a backing band, called Dixie normous.
