I guess he mustve been the drummer when I saw them in Auckland in 1980. This brings a tinge of sadness.
I remember they had to stop and tell people to stop spitting on them. (Spitting was the done thing in British punk circles at the time, I don't the NYer's took to it, can you blame them?)
