Totally forgot about this, seen both before at least but woulda been keen for another go.
Motley crue was really good when i saw them, but there was a few too many cringey moments, especially the tommy lee allotted time for him to be the star, which involved him harassing women into showing their boobs. there was also a part where they sat around sharing some jagermeister (even though theyre mostly recovering alcoholics) and reading the script of how they're all great buddies.
Alice Cooper is amazing, hopefully he gets to have a full stage show.

Almost, there are discount tickets on tickermaster for areas with bad views.

Vector has an outside bar but not sure what they carry, probably just the same stuff as inside.

The nearest decent place is probably Brew on Quay, about 10 mins walk from Vector?

I'm thinking due to lack of interest I will just hit one of the bars at the venue. I'm happy to give my number to anyone wanting to meet up (there will be at least 2 of us meeting already). Anyone keen can also PM their number

Super mini review.

Alice Cooper was damn good.
3 guitarists on stage at all times. So was cool in that aspect. He put on a cool show, with nurses, straight jackets and a giant Frankenstein monster costume.

Motley was good, but following Cooper's show almost seemed a bit lack-lustre.

They covered Anarchy in the UK. Seemed a little odd one of the world's biggest glam rock bands playing a sex pistols tune in a giant arena to a group of people in their mid 40s.
Ummm....

Alice Cooper was easily the best part. Really cool show and the man still seems to have the same voice as ever. Agree that Motley Crue were a bit of an anticlimax after that. I think that Vince Neil still has the voice too, but is just really, really unfit.

Also, wasn't terribly impressed with the sound. But we had cool seats and getting in and out of the arena (I've never been to Vector before) was surprisingly quick.
