Buckethead

Post by sizzlingbadger »

Just spent some time on youtube trying to get some inspiration and came across some Buckethead clips. For a guitarist that seems to have so much talent why does he play such shit music ?
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Bought a few of his albums a while back, a lot of his stuff just sounds the same. Quite boring TBH, I came away quite disappointed and haven't listened to him since.

He is a top international guitarist and earns a lot of money. Yet he wears a KFC family bucket which he got for free. A man of his income could afford a top quality Rubbermaid bucket.

I would think a man of his means could at least replace the bucket occasionally, even if he tossed the chicken to the homeless.

Wearing a bucket on your head is a way to scuttle your career.
