Not sure if anyone is familiar with this band, I used to head out and watch them most weekends when I was living in the UK. They released a handful of albums and went out on the road supporting Buddy Guy before disbanding in 1999. From memory they won the 'Best British Blues Band' award for four or five years running.
Stunning playing by both guitarists; Jesse Davey (the one with the long hair) nailing the SRV feel & tone and IMHO probably one of the best blues guitarists in the world today (alongside a few other notables). There's heaps on YouTube, Spotify etc but here's a bit of what they do...

Closest guy out there for nailing the tone and feel of SRV, having said that he's far from a clone if you have a listen to some of solo stuff. It's pretty diverse and eclectic.Molly wrote:Nails that Texas Flood tone. Nice playing too.
One of his other interests is building pedals and pickups. I have a hankering for this particular one, sounds like something I could really get a lot out of... and I like the dual option. Bummer it's hardly ever in stock and there's always a long waiting list
