John Squire. Everyone panned The Second Coming. "Love spreads' is brilliant work. The first album is absolute amazeballs. I'll happily quit the guitar and leave it to him.

I've never mentioned Johnny Marr because he's just too obvious. Omar Rodriguez also.
1935 Martin D-45, 1942 Gibson Southern Jumbo,1950 Fender Broadcaster, 1954 Fender Strat, 1958 Gibson Moderne prototype, 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard.
1958 Fender twin, 1965 Vox AC30, 1966 Marshall JTM 45, 1977 Dumble OD Special.
Big black garbage bag full of original Klon Centaurs and TS808s.

Kid Anderson rocks - Darren W raves about him. Blake Mills is just a different breed. Could listen to him all day. Props to Jim Keltner was his drum work on the last record too.
That Welch/Rawlings gig at the Civic earlier this year was just sublime...

Blake is a freak of nature.

Love Squire. One man mid-filler. Love his riff/lead/chord blend style, and as Love Spreads shows, he's a fair slide player too

Love Mars Volta but have to admit that listening to them exhausts me quite quickly. World is a richer place with them in it.

Charlie Hunter: I would consider him a technical player, has quite a unique style, playing 7 or 8 string guitars with bass strings on them for the low notes...

Mars Volta are great but I was referring more to his work in At The Drive In. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87VU9m6E-Rk
