So after our gig on Sunday, someone said I should listen to Faust and other Krautrock bands.
I've started, but I still don't really get what Krautrock IS. Offhand, it seems to be 70s bands from Germany playing a mix of hippie shit, synth loops and generally being a bit edgy. But there's probably more to it than that
(and yes, cheers, I can look up the Wikipedia article, too)
Are there any Wellington bands that would classify as Krautrock? Ideally, it would be good to gig together.

Really? I didn't think they'd be hypnotic enough.Frey wrote:I heard phoenix foundation being referred to as having a krautrock influence.

I think at his age, Vince has done all his growing.Frey wrote:They do some pretty lengthy jams live. It's that "sonic" wall of sound thing.
