when i was learning guitar as a kid we used to strum away to kumbayah and all that..
then chuck berry had a hit with with "my dingaling".. and that was the first time i heard "that" sound
the amp just about to be really driven...there was something that just captivated me

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
