Mike Patton appreciation thread
My fave contemporary vocalist. I love about 80% of his stuff.. some of it is a bit too experimental however but will usually give it a nudge, Fantomas for example.
FNM is a given, no particular fave album there but thought Sol Invictus was very average.
Tomahawk blows me away every time and espicially love Irony Is a Dead Scene he did with Dillinger.
The first Peeping Tom album is great for slower stuff.
The guy can do it all and he has personality to boot.
What are your Patton gems?

Saw FNM in Liverpool years ago. I was as sick as a dog though and left after one song...

Went to that one for free - nobody took our tickets as we walked in, so we got one guy to take them for refunds at the ticket office.vintage52 wrote:Crikey.....that makes me feel old.....sirvill wrote:vintage52 wrote:Saw him and FNM must of been at least 10 years ago in Wellington.
