I watched that too the other day but didn't get to the end. Impressive playing but not my kind of music. I too thought it'd be all shred so nice that it wasn't.

The winner of that was a bit more of a shredder. Of course, the keyboard warriors had their opinions on Youtube as always, seemingly unhappy to observe talent or dedication for what it is and just have to rag on people. I can say both are currently way better than I'll ever be ;o)

She's not my kind of music either, and the middle part of the video is kinda a bit boring compared to the start and final few minutes. But she impressed me with her knowledge of the fretboard and landed on some pretty nice note choices.

I kind of side with the Youtube warriors in terms of the comment section of the winners video - I'd have cast my vote for Abigail. Just as a sidenote, what model Suhr is she playing?

yer dunno, I like shred so kinda biased that way, but yes she was awesome. That said, he looked like he was having fun doing it, Abigail kinda looked very serious in all of the bits I saw

I watched that the other day. Turned it off about half way because it bored me shitless.

Only in the sense that she is just a great player and obviously doesn't feel like she needs to include a display of cleavage to get attention, which I think is awesome as a parent of two young girls.

There's some great players out there of both sexes. Sadly I always have to hang my moose knuckle over the top cutout to get any attention

Oh and I hated the playing was still just wanky bullshit that added nothing to it for me

Here you go, one of the hardest working guitarists in the uk, Chantelle McGregor. She can shred but everything supports the song. She doesn't wear leather but she does display cleavage at times. So what?
