So many bootlegs

Post by RectifiedAmps »

I just stumbled on this collection of lossless bootleg recordings: https://www.guitars101.com/forums/f145

So many great concerts. The Neil Young catalog alone is eye-watering!

Wow, I used to collect loads of lossless bootlegs from a service called Dime A Dozen but it was so tricky keeping your share ratios up and they had some other bizzare rules that my torrent client violated and I got banned somehow, never bothered trying to get back in...

This one looks interesting, except for the foul colour scheme

please forgive me but I never got into the torrent thing. are these just zipped files? or do I have to open the back door as it were?
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

The forum has links posted to zipped files so no messing with torrents. Most of the file hosting sites they use are full of spammy pop ups, but you can get what you want if you have the patience. Some people use google drive to host but not many it seems.

I downloaded a Black Sabbath one but was disappointed with the crappy quality of the recording.
Epiphone Riviera P93 & EJ200CE, Hagstrom Viking Bass, Doubleneck bass/guitar.
Rivera Clubster 45, Carvin AG100D, Ashton BSK158.

Yes, this is what I'm finding too - a lot of pretty poor-quality recordings in huge lossless file formats. I wish there was a way to filter out audience tapes to get a list of soundboard recordings only.
