U2 tickets - A FECKIN JOKE

Post by GrantB »

Sold out - Post Shop where I was sold one ticket and the system crashed - then came the string of messages "only reserve left" (in the meantime no one was being served because the system, was down), then "no tickets left...try Ticketmaster"....yeah right...that was frozen from 6am this morning. What a fucken joke...

queued at the post office this morning ... i knew i should have gone with my gut and gone to real groovy. The poor bastard at the front of the PO queue had been there all night, and blew his stack when the lady behind the counter told him it was all over as far as the post office were concerned. Went down to Real Groovy in Wgtn, and people were still getting tickets... luckily my mate came through. What an absolute joke of a system... Ticketmasters system had a meltdown last week for the presale for gods sake (I got 4 tix for Sydney). How the hell did they expect to cope with a general sale!

I tried a few different things but nothing came of it. So I suppose I'll just have to get the DVD :(
