On Hauraki they have been hinting at a reformation of "Rock n' Roll Royalty" for their 40th anniversary bash.
the first band I thought of was Th' Dudes... Then I thought of Split Enz... then i though it might have something to do with the Who at the Bowl proposal...
But no. "Right First Time"

I saw them on the telly. Dave was saying you can't listen to any classic radio station in NZ without hearing one of their songs in the first 15 minutes.
Than I started thinking - I can name 4 maybe 5 of their songs. Must be a dreadful radio station with a high repeat list....
Bliss
Right First Time
Be Mine Tonight
Walking in Light
I'm not sure if Otherwise Fine was one of theirs or not??

He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...

It was DD Smash and it was indeed called Outlook for Thursday.
Since this is all to do with Radio Hauraki's 40th anniversary, I think its safe to say the only radio station he could possibly be referring to is Hauraki, in which case he's almost right, although exaggerating somewhat
Kiwi is probably the only other station to play them anyway.
