Kristie got a demo copy (because she's special)
Sounds, Real Groovy & CD DVD stores. Amplifier.co.nz also 0800 400 411.
It was recorded October 2005 in 3 days at Waiuku in a house. Vintage gear, desk, mics, all hooked up to a mac with pro tools. Mostly live, one-take.
Kristie got a demo copy (because she's special), the retail CD comes with an mpeg of the music video. Or if you want to watch the clip NOW it's on http://www.myspace.com/darcyperryband
By the way I'm really enjoying "Enough" and can't wait for the Amperzahn EP.
I saw Infinate Flying Kick last Wednesday night at the Dogs Bollix and I can tell you Robin was on fire!!!
Crank it!

Nacho Mama
I was a bass player in a band with two americans (Chad & Chuck) whose family had moved to Palmy. They both now reside in the US. The band was called Nacho Mama. Not Your Mother in kiwi speak.
It was one of the many bands I played in after moving to Palmy. Yes, we did release a CD (Lightning Through The Roots). Back when NZ rock bands were not played on TV/radio.
I was early 20's, long haired and in a rock band. Woohoo!
I lived in Palmy for almost 4 years and left after my first marriage went down the toilet.
Oh well, that's the blues.

Nice track and a good video. Those travelling to the last chorus vids can get tired real easily but yours has a nice feel to it.
Who shot it?
Who drives the porsche? Bass player I bet. They never seem to fit in eh?
The drummer looked cool in his dark glasses and valiant.
Oh yeah the singer looked ok too. Just the right mix of grizzled but friendly.

Ha, sounds like me, except as I approach my 30's, I'm still the same and my generation call it "emo" instead.DarcyPerry wrote:
