hmm I've thought about it there are a few schematics floating around but I'd probably screw it up, considering I did electronics in 7th form in '07 and did absolutely nothing, but than again neither did anyone else in the class including the teacher. We played with lego robots for a year, I think we might've even got a few credits lolrocklander wrote:welcome to the forum dood.druz15 wrote:howdy ima new member been playing for 8-9 years.
Don't have a camera on me but here's my rig
guitars (90% of the time my 1998 Fender American Deluxe Series Tele) -->
Modded Boss DS-1 --> Biyang OD-7 (soon an EHX double muff will be here too) -->
Boss GT-8 -->
Orange Tiny Terror --> Dunlop Heil Sound Talkbox --> Mesa Boogie 4x10 cabinet
I'll probably pick up a Wilson 10-spot wah at some point this month too
EDIT:
also anyone know who can get Zvex fuzz factories in NZ? the zvex website had some shop in auckland but they haven't replied to my email from like over two weeks ago.

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Here's my rather simple pedalboard:
http://i39.tinypic.com/25hppmr.jpg
My amp runs at a mild crunch, so the SD9 kicks it into High Gain and the CS-1 pulls it back to a sparkling clean. The homemade A/B box toggles between the two. The Arion SCH-1is for those trippy rotating speaker moments.
Thanks to Iain at stombox.co.nz for a killer deal on the SD9 : )

Re: Show us your pedalboard
I never studied electronics at all, and didn't so much as attend 7th form, and I still managed to build a pedal. From a kit mind you.druz15 wrote:hmm I've thought about it there are a few schematics floating around but I'd probably screw it up, considering I did electronics in 7th form in '07 and did absolutely nothing, but than again neither did anyone else in the class including the teacher. Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Just got the loop-master the other day, so I thought I'd upload a photo of my board.
Bought it to bypass all my non-TB pedals, then when I was mucking around I discovered that MXR pedals are truebypass! who knew?! So I only needes to take the TS-9 and Hotcake out of loop, but left the MXRs in anyway so I can turn on 2 pedals at once if need be.
Haven't had the Phase 90 very long, not sure if its me, time (and playing) will tell.
The 2 Ibanez pedals are my absolute favorite pedals, the only ones on the board I would never part with. Both modded.
The Keeley modded AD-9 is awesome, has a true-bypass switch.
The TS-9 had the 808 mods done by Analogman. Actually a very noisy pedal when on which is a shame, any suggestions here?
Still to come, I will eventually get an MI Audio Crunch Box as have loved most video reviews I have seen, and I need a decent high-gain sound. It might replace the Hotcake.
And a decent power supply, the Voodoo Labs PP2+ looks nice, but yikes look at the price... Might get something cheaper, as long as the outputs are regulated/isolated.

I'm more partial to NIN who I believe use Zvex as well. Love those crushed-up distortion sounds...Jenesis wrote:You wouldn't happen to be a Muse fan?druz15 wrote:also anyone know who can get Zvex fuzz factories in NZ?

Keeley modded AD-9 ! *Droool* I remember Mojosound had one ages ago with 2 expression pedals and the extra switches. Never tried it out (in hindsight probably a good thing, i'm GASing for it enough as it is)

Re: Show us your pedalboard
Nah a mate got it for me who works for a RT dealer, just out of a catalogue. Cost far too much for what it is, but it does have quite a high milliamp output (1700 I think?).robnobcorncob wrote:Keeley modded AD-9 ! *Droool* I remember Mojosound had one ages ago with 2 expression pedals and the extra switches. Re: Show us your pedalboard
Ooops that was supposed to be a reply to the laptop power supply comment.
Yeah the AD-9 is most wicked. Nice clean pedal, no noise at all. Very natural sounding delay, almost a reverb at subtle settings. The original footswitch has been turned into a infinite delay feature, pressing and holding it is like turning the delay frequency knob up on full, and because its analog the note distorts the more it is played back. Very fun feature.
