Show us your whole setup....

Post by Capt. Black »

Reminds me of an old studio engineer friend who used to say, programming midi through that little screen is like trying to write a novel through a mail slot.

One of the things that is frustrating about the majority of these multi voiced/effect booteek units is the lack of midi switching. So the unit is off the floor and in the rack, how do you use it? Can't. :(
Unless the pedal has provision for external latch type switching.. like an amp channel select with a separate footswitch.
GCX will do that as well

Too true - but alas, the Flint does not have that option.

Tremolo and reverb together with a Tele is instant desert twang

To quote a live review I read once, the Sunn revolves around the Earth. I think I'll have to look up some Earth albums.

Plus I need to get a new pair of stereo speakers, and a couple of subs.

Current setup, my Squier with G&L electrics. Doesn't sound quite as good but I like the way it plays, and looks cool too. Chucked some castors on the cabinet, ready for action this weekend 8)

Cheers fellas yeah it's an AC30CCH so pretty craptastic chinese circuitry but hell they are still fantastic sounding amps, and I reckon one of the more versatile amps around. I played a combo really loud once and decided I needed one.
As much as GAS attacks me from time to time, I've honestly never really considered another amp - gets better with volume which is a trait I like in an amp :D

Very nice stuff mate, love the MPC head unit and cool pedal board, I have 2 nearly 3 pedals do you reckon I need a pedal board yet? and if I get patch cables and join them all together can you still play them one at a time?

Yes, you still turn them on and off individually. You don't really need a board if you're not moving them around like to gigs etc.
