The ED is way louder than a 100w plexi. Had both and compared.

Like you said,I leave the controls alone pretty much once their set apart from going from buckers to single coils. Presence control is defo subtle but usefull.
Will have to get around to putting up a pic of my ED & SG pairing....tis sweet!
I run mine through either a 4x12 or 2x12 and it really is an epic sounding amp! clean or dirty!
