Bump! New pickguard day!
I decided to try out a white/parchment one for that '59/'60 look I was talking about earlier. Single ply, 8 hole pickguards are a bit thin on the ground, so I just got a 5 hole one and drilled the extra holes.
Compared to the mint one...
I think the white looks cool (pics aren't terribly flattering), but ultimately the factory got it right and the mint is... well, mint. Might try a tortoise one as well, like this.
