This is my sweetheart :D
Plays all lovely like, though quite heavy for a PRS surprisingly.

Tasty aint she?
It's funny how many people have told me its one of the best looking PRS' theyve seen, which is interesting seeming theres nothing really special about it. It's a fair bit heavier than most PRS' i've played and the neck feels beefier, I think its the wide/fat carve. I dont know what the finish is precisely but it looks nice and violin ambery to me.
$2500 from trademe in July :)

Awesome, big PRS fan. Although now that I've got a Singlecut I don't think I'll ever go back to the Customs, the body shape suits me way better.

Love the finish and the flame!

probably both in the public domain, but your amongst friends here.

beautiful CU24, have one myself (ex Ed funnily enough, who now has my old singlecut - glad to hear you two are getting along), and i love my CU24 to bits. only problem is i need at least one more, although having seen the green carvin at jansen for not a huge amount of coin for what it is, i can see myself going for that.

I've been tempted, but i'm actually hoping I could find some wooden pickup rings, I thought that would suit it a wee bit more. I'm redoing the electronics to the McCarty wiring, with a toggle and push/pull coil split in a month or so. Pickups will likely be changed out for an SD Jazz/Full Shred combo.

Ash can make you some. I'd originally spec-ed jarrah pickup rings but went with chrome in the end.

I still have those dark red/brown Jarrah ones on hand and can make them from other woods to order. I reckon the cream ones look sweet.

Yeah the cream rings look fine. That said, a little change could be nice.
Ash, i'll shoot you a PM about coming by some time soon with my friend and his Custom 22 in need of the finish repairs, probably in the next week or so. May bring this along too in case you want to noodle away on it :)
