Good work ashley!

I know most of you will hate this colour with all of the vitriol you can muster. The hate is swelling in you now. Give in to your anger.
Good. I can feel your anger. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the dark side.
Buy it with all of your hatred and your journey towards the dark side will be complete...
Now witness the fire power of this fully-armed and operational battle station!!! MUAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

Significant levels of win, there.

It's rose-red dye diluted in lacquer, so you're kind of right.

Next pile of leftovers to come together for the G-Tar cause:

P90 Jazzmaster.

Mahogany body
Fat maple neck (9.5" radius, 21 medium/tall frets, satin lacquer finish)
Satin trans red finish
Bridge P90 - slightly hotter than usual, Alnico V
Middle J90 - like a supercharged Jazzmaster pickup or a kinder, gentler P90 with chime and jangle
Neck P90 - well underwound and Alnico 2 magnets for smoothness and clarity
Volume/Tone and 5-way switch wired a la Strat

Played this bad boy round at the workshop the other day too. It looks every bit as sweet in the flesh. Dying to hear it plugged in. 8)
