Not going to be letting it go any time soon anyway... Though that said my back was loving the Robin ahead of it last gig, and the P90s were singing.

That is such a great guitar, and an absolute pleasure to play.

Yeah it's excellent. 335 GAS sorted, Bernard Butler and Johnny Marr fanboy-ism aside.bender wrote:Yuss!Though that said my back was loving the Robin ahead of it last gig, and the P90s were singing.

And the ASH Aurum deserves to be raved about too... Feeling pretty bloody lucky whenever I go to grab a guitar these days.

If by tea and bingo, you mean beer and slow-smoked brisket, then yes!Zaulkin wrote:Time for tea and bingo.

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
Made a few tweaks to Corvette #1 this week:
Went back to a filtertron in the neck position, partly to differentiate it from my other Gretsch, but also because the TV Jones HiLo Tron I had in there before was a bridge one and the pole-piece spacing was too wide. I've also finally got round to sorting out a black pickup surround and rewiring it (it originally had 250k pots). I decided that I'd try putting in a bass contour instead of a tone control so that I could thin it out a bit for extra twang. It sounds so damn good. Eventually I'll get another Supertron to satisfy my OCD, but I'm pretty damn stoked with it at the moment!
