New Member - Thought I'd Share My Gear!
Hi team - I've been a member here for a month or so, thought it was time I shared my gear
First up is my Music Man JP6 - Fully loaded with Piezo etc. Retro fitted Dimarzio Liquifire and Crunch Lab, I've also fitted a Trem-ol-no system, so I can lock the bridge for drop tunings - Drop C (this is my main main axe):
Next is my Music Man Axis Super Sport - Changed the bridge pick up with the factory Petrucci 'custom' pickups - Karnivool Tuning - B F# B G B E
This is a handbuilt Tele from a Gentleman in Upper Hutt, called Frank McLoughlin - This is his vintage series tele. I've JUST fitted a hotrail in the bridge - Drop D:
Check out the paint! Chameleon - Green and Gold!
Another McLoughlin - this is a thinline - E-Standard:
American Walnut, Delicious and bluesy.
My LTD-SC207 with retrofitted EMG707 - Drop B-flat (7 string) and Drop C# with a dropped G# on the bottom.
And my teaching guitar - A Danelectro U2 - E Standard
This runs through my rack, pretty basic. Line Six Relay Wireless (tuner out to Korg DTR2000) -> Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor -> MXR Carbon Copy -> Mesa Mark IV
So there you have it sports fans. I also have a couple of pedals like a Boss Tu Tuner, A boss DS-1, a Homebrew Electronics THC Chorus and a Boss DD-3 which stopped working - I dont really do the whole effects thing, so prefer to just have the Carbon Copy in my chain only. Pretty simple stuff, cheers for having a look

Welcome to the forum.
Very nice gear - judging by the EQ settings on that Mesa, it would appear you like your heavy stuff.

Re: New Member - Thought I'd Share My Gear!
this is EXACTLY what I intend to do with my new 7. My band plays in drop C# but we wrote a few new songs in F#. I'm going to transpose it all to G# so I can use the one guitar live, do all the old stuff with the drop C on the 6 strings, and the new stuff with the low string dropped to G# for drop G# on the bottom 3 strings.djentleman wrote: My LTD-SC207 with retrofitted EMG707 - Drop B-flat (7 string) and Drop C# with a dropped G# on the bottom.

Nice.
So I take it you specialise in James Blunt/Jack Johnson covers?
