1999 R9 Les Paul
After I sold the Deweyburst to opsguy I have never gone a week without thinking..."I need a late 90's R9"...and with a little bit of work and a pile of luck I stumbled on this.
Looks like different guitars (and yes, some hardware did change between shots) but the top is so 3D it moves...looks different. Sounds are great and the Zhangbuckers in this thing are simply perfect. Wearing a target on my chest I will say "very PAF like". Playability is what you would expect for R9 territory. Very pleased, privileged and thankful.

Noice, very noice. You've got a talent for finding gems (and a well watered money tree.)
So, are the pickups raucous, or buttery?

You're my Hero.
R9's and AiRdAd's R7 are the only Les Pauls I have bonded with.
And strong the bond is.
Happy NGD Unique.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I always hand churn my butter.BG wrote:home made bread? and hand churned butter?
The guitar is the kind that you decide to try out for 10 minutes, and 45 later you're still going. Love that.

Good God man that is abominable.
The internet is international and you are representing your country. Think about that before you post again.

Hey Grant -I thought you said were chilling out on the new acquisitions for a while! Purely out of unselfish concern for your marital harmony and happiness, may I suggest that you store/hide the guitar at my house?
