NGD: Squier Telecaster Custom Duncan P90's

Post by phoenixash »

Just had to grab this one $250 I traded some crap I don't use anymore and just scraped in, Not your traditional sounding Tele but she can growl with those Duncan designed P90's
made in 2005 Indonesia but looks brand new after I cleaned and gave it a good setup.Gotta love a black tele with a maple neck.
Even has some nice flame going on on the neck.

Nice one.

Is it heavy? I picked up a couple of Squire Custom Teles at the Rockshop one day and I remember the one with P90s felt like it had lead weights in it. Not sure why it was so much heavier than the H/H ones.
Nothing to see here.

It does have some weight but I have heavier gats than this one made from agathis probably a little heavier than alder but not as heavy as ash can get.

Great score mate, another tele in the family. Looks awesome. I like the idea of p90s in a tele shape, would like one, but I have too many guitars already....according to my wife....mind you she has too many fucking shoes.

For those who have a simular style gat I wired this thing like a 50's Les Paul and man what a difference best way to describe it as it has a very nice warm transparent sound with no treble loss when you wind back the volume.
try it out.
