New Sheraton E212TV day!
Last year I got hold of one of Epiphone's 50th anniversary 1961 Casino re-issues and it's proved to be an incredible guitar especially considering how much they cost. Gibson USA pick ups, CTS pots etc, great build quality, all round a fantastic buy! I found out that they're now doing re-issues of 1962 guitars and thanks to Matt at the Rockshop, he managed to track down one of these for me;

It is the Epiphone 1962 Sheraton re-issue! Once again, fantastic build quality, Gibson USA mini humbuckers and wiring harness, pretty cheap, FANTASTIC!Body close up

Here's the back of it. All gold plated hardware, Grover tuners.
I'm hoping Epiphone will look at doing a 50th re-issue Coronet next, if they do, i'm getting two! Thanks NZRSMatt!
Here it is with its Casino cousin
Here's a shot of some of the detail work. Very nicely done,
I'm very pleased with this guitar. It looks and sounds amazing and cost less than $1400. If you can find yourself in the position of purchasing one then i'd advise to go for it, there's not many about!I'm hoping Epiphone will look at doing a 50th re-issue Coronet next, if they do, i'm getting two! This is the one that Lennon bought, and then coerced the rest of the Beatles into getting as well since it was so good, right?
Onya!

Looks great! Cool that they've got a mini-humbucker equipped Sheraton in the lineup again. Quite like the natural one myself.
I'd love to try out the tremotone too. For some reason I have visions of one retrofitted on a Telecaster.
