It gets lost in all the bling but the red one is something special. It took me 20 seconds to fall in love with it.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I also remember that Grey-Black Santana III as well, though I don't remember that one being AS special.

Yeah, I didn't think the Santana body was all that much different until I got them all lined up together. It certainly weighs a bit more, and is somewhat unbalanced to play sitting down.

I really like the 408 pickups. In humbucker mode they're not hugely different, but when you switch to single coil the extra windings kick in to boost the volume so there's no drop off like normal coil-tapping. And they sound really good as single coils.
