Re: Excessive Gear Day (EGD) Thread
this was my board at its biggest.
all of that stuff is gone now.
I always feel like making that exact board again.. but i'm currently making a much smaller one.

Re: Excessive Gear Day (EGD) Thread
ehhh basically all my gear right now. In terms of gigging I use two guitars, one board with about 8 pedals on it, a Plexi and a quad box.
I have an extra 6 guitars that are mostly for funsies / recording variety, a whole extra even bigger board with a bazillion pedals and ES-8 switcher on it
and another 100W head and Hiwatt quad box that I rarely use atm

Re: Excessive Gear Day (EGD) Thread
When I was 21 and first married to the original Mrs Molly I had two full Marshall stacks in the bedroom, a BC Rich Rich Bich, Kramer Stagemaster Custom, Charvel (carved flame top one - dunno the model), and a Rat pedal.
Didn't seem excessive at the time and since it got used it probably wasn't. I'd love two Marshall stacks in the bedroom now. How cool would that be!

Are you really wanting to begin the search for Mrs. Molly #3?Molly wrote: I'd love two Marshall stacks in the bedroom now. How cool would that be!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Re: Excessive Gear Day (EGD) Thread
Ok, while not as ridiculous as some, I am starting to agree with my wife that I actually do have a little more gear than is strictly necessary. She made me tidy up the rumpus/music room today as I'd spread out over the whole room, and afterwards once it was all stacked nicely against the wall I had to admit there was a little more than I probably need.
I think a distillation will be in the works in the coming months, I just don't really know where to start!

Bassman TV Duo 10, and I need to keep that as it's my only bass amp currently!H671 wrote:If that is a Bassman TV12, then I'll help you start by taking it off your hands!

I'd be happy to take that Flint off your hands if you need to declutter?null_pointer wrote:Ok, while not as ridiculous as some, I am starting to agree with my wife that I actually do have a little more gear than is strictly necessary. Hmm I am rethinking the board, will touch base Reg if it is to move. Has a Strymon tap favourite button also.

Pathetic; never heard such drivel.
