New wireless day!

Bought SimpleSi's Line 6 G10 unit after having used the G30 model for the last year or so. Nothing against the G30; it's a fantastic unit but I was very intrigued by the idea of not having to purchase/change batteries and the simplicity of the G10.

I often change guitars during sets, so this is actually lot quicker to do than unlatching and then reattaching my old wireless to another guitar... you literally plug in the receiver to power, put the transmitter into the guitar and presto, sound! The other cool feature is that after about 4 mins of inactivity, it goes into sleep mode.

I was concerned that there would be a bit of tone loss, as I noted on my G30, but to be honest... it's actually a lot less noticeable. If anything... i actually thought my rig sounded tighter on high gain settings, especially on the low end. Pretty stoked with it though!
