Gear Mountain Oct '16

Post by null_pointer »

Well I've got a live FS listing going at the moment so thought I'd put some context round it. Here's my current corner of the room:

Image

Made up of guitars:
'93 Telecaster w/MJT body
Duesenberg Caribou
Vox Virage
'85 MIJ Strat
Suhr Custom S
Reverend Slingshot
Taylor 314CE
Fender Aerodyne Jazz bass

Amps:
Tamerlane Hodgee Baba (yes I'm the latest host)
Matchless Nighthawk
Jansen 6-thirty five
Bogner Mojado (which is now mostly Palermo)
Vox Tony Bruno TB35C2
Fender Bassman TV Duo ten
Jackson Ampworks McFly
1x12 JA cab w/Celestion Gold
2x12 Marshall cab w/G12Hs

And then a pile of pedals and associated 'floor' gear that I use about half of. I'm thinking I'll reduce to 3 amps plus the Bassman and drop one guitar (most likely the Rev).

I have another bass amp in the corner of my eye at the mo, so if that flies I'll be in touch...

The SUYG thread is actually great for those of us who go thru a lot of gear, it's like a walk down memory lane going back a few months to see what you used to have!

Did I mention the push-pull on the Tamerlane? Makes it darker. :-)

Lol I played with it for 20 mins thinking 'this damn tone does nothing, and the amp breaks up way too early'...then I bumped it in...

It's a Tweed switch so it bypasses tone circuit.
