NGD Vintagey Strat goodness.

Post by LucyTheSpud »

I did a thing.

Been after a Sunburst strat pretty much all my life. I made this.

Fender Roadworn series body, nitro finish 2tone sunburst. Fsctory wear + the promise of more from me, iv already left a few pick marks in the last day from band practice, the nitro looks amazing and you can tell its gonna age beautifully and get worn away.

Neck is from a late 90s Mexi standard, with an LSR nut, a little bit reshaped at the back to flatten out towards the 12th fret, and all the stickyness removed.

Full set of SD texas antiquities, wired in strat correct format. No load tone pots. Vintagey wax cloth wiring all over. 8 hole parchment 1 ply pickguard. Gotoh bridge.

Im a Frusciante fanboy so having a relic'd sunburst strat is heaven for me. Put it into my Plexi and it is pure Peppers goodness
