Congrats! Happy NGD!
I know it's worth the wait and hassle from customs and delivery, but what a way to arrive right before the holidays.

One to add to the very, very short list of teles that I actually like.

Decent playthru last night with pedals. Definitely a keeper (currently!) out of my many tele iterations to date. If it were a covers gig, this would do the whole thing nicely with a good med-gain OD added to make up for the single coil bridge when phat chords are called for (I was using the fulldrive in my playing). Feels great, and because tone is in the eyes it sounds good in the mirror too!
Really good articulation with the neck bucker, while notes round off and you get more warmth compared to a SC or P90 neck, it doesn't drop into the mud territory where you need to have differing eqs for bridge and neck. Quiet too, the SSCII seems to do the trick nicely.
I may have played a little more Springsteen that is strictly kosher as a result of too long on the bridge with the Honey Bee on, but that didn't detract from the experience!
